 ​ MIH Systems Group focuses on providing smart solutions to the energy and infrastructure needs of building owners. To that end, we focus on providing commissioning services for new and existing buildings, while also seeking ways to provide solutions to our client’s needs. ​MIH is currently seeking a Project Engineer to assist in the commissioning and start-up of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in new and existing buildings. The candidate would also assist in major retrofits and upgrades to existing MEP equipment. The candidate would gain exposure to some of the highest profile construction projects and facilities in New York City, and the opportunity to work on unitary equipment as well as system wide troubleshooting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot large-scale HVAC equipment and systems 

• ​Perform functional performance tests of unitary mechanical equipment and full building systems 

• Review and analyze data and provide technical reports

• Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other team members

 

Qualifications: 

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering Preferred

• 2 years experience in either MEP systems design, construction project management, or facilities management

• Candidate must be self-motivated and well organized

• ​Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe AcrobatAble to read and understand construction drawings and equipment cut sheets
